Job Description Overview: Monument Family Dentistry is seeking a positive, experienced, self-motivated, and open-minded Patient Care Coordinator to join our 5-star Google rated team in a brand new, state-of-the-art office in Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities: The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for detailed insurance verifications for in and out of network policies, submitting insurance claims with proper attachments, sending and following up on pre-authorizations, assisting with check-in, explaining patient balances, managing claims aging, providing accurate treatment estimates, maintaining thorough documentation, and maximizing the doctor treatment schedule.
Qualifications & Skills: Strong communication skills and experience with Dentrix are required. Knowledge of digital dentistry tools such as CEREC and iTero, as well as familiarity with cosmetics, implants, Invisalign, and endodontics, is preferred. Training is available for the right candidate.
full-time $18 - $25 per hour

Shift & Schedule Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Experience: Must be experienced with Dentrix software.
Skills: Highly skilled in speaking with patients confidently and accurately regarding insurance benefits and treatment necessary for optimal oral health.
Tasks: Detailed insurance verifications for in and out of network policies, sending and following up on treatment pre-authorizations, assisting check-in, submitting insurance claims with proper attachments, understanding dental maximums, deductibles, and frequencies, assisting with claims aging when necessary, explaining patient balances, thorough documentation, accurate treatment estimates, and ensuring doctor treatment schedule is maximized and maintained.
